Outbound Sales Team Lead - MAKATI ONSITE| Night Shift | With Sales Commission
About the Role
We are seeking a results-oriented Supplies Sales Lead to serve as the onsite leader for our team of sales representatives in Manila who sell Pitney Bowes postage meter supplies to existing business clients. This role will report directly to Team Managers located in the US while providing critical local leadership and support. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, with the ability to motivate teams to exceed targets while maintaining high quality standards across geographical boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
Onsite Leadership & Team Development
- Function as the primary liaison between the Manila team and US-based management
- Provide daily onsite leadership, coaching, and development for the Manila-based team of Supplies Sales Agents to consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales quotas
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions to enhance performance while coordinating with US-based management
- Monitor call quality and provide constructive feedback to improve sales techniques
- Identify training needs and partner with US Team Managers to implement solutions
- Mentor new employees and facilitate their successful onboarding at the Manila location
Performance Management
- Track and analyze team and individual performance metrics (call volume, conversion rates, sales totals, client satisfaction) for the Manila team
- Serve as the local extension of US Managers in reinforcing expectations and holding team members accountable for KPIs
- Recommend action plans for underperforming team members to US Team Managers
- Collaborate with US leadership to recognize and reward high performers
- Ensure Manila team members are properly positioning product benefits and value propositions
- Collaborate with US management to develop and implement sales strategies for the Manila team
- Implement best practices for overcoming objections and closing sales
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures across locations
Support for US Teams
- Run and analyze reports for US Team Managers to identify trends and opportunities – e.g. revenue metrics, client satisfaction, etc.
- Monitor timekeeping (tracking tardiness and coordinating with workforce management)
- Conduct call monitoring, providing real time feedback to agents and sharing insights with US leadership
- Assist with team chats by answering questions and resolving issues efficiently
- Other duties as assigned by US Team Managers
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of successful B2B/B2C sales experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading teams to success
- Strong understanding of telesales techniques and metrics
- Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills
- Advanced English language proficiency with clear pronunciation, strong comprehension, and the ability to effectively communicate with US-based clients
- Experience coaching team members on American business communication styles and cultural nuances
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with multiple software systems
Preferred
- Background in office supplies or related B2B/B2C sales
- Call center or telesales management experience
- History of implementing successful sales training programs
- Experience with performance improvement plans and talent development
