Logistics Analyst

Job Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Industrial), Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably 1-2 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Transport/Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Very proficient with MS Excel VLook-Up, SumIfs and Pivot Table functions. Good to have a SAP experience.
• Must be amenable to work from Monday to Friday. Saturday if needed. 

Job Description: 

1. Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data on logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain management.
2. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in logistics operations and develop recommendations for process enhancements.
3. Cost Reduction: Analyze logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction, such as optimizing transportation routes, renegotiating contracts with carriers, and improving inventory management.
    
4. Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for optimization, such as improving lead times, reducing inventory levels, and enhancing supplier performance.
    
5. Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track logistics performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and transportation costs.
    
6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and customer service to implement logistics process improvements.
    
7. Project Management: Manage logistics projects, such as implementing new transportation management systems, optimizing warehouse layouts, and developing inventory management strategies.
    
8. Compliance: Ensure logistics operations comply with regulatory requirements, such as customs regulations, transportation laws, and safety regulations.
