Company Nurse

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages the Company's Clinic and ensures that necessary materials, equipment, medicines are available. 

• Provides immediate medical care to minimize lost time and to keep all employees physically and mentally able to perform jobs.

• Provides assistance to employees through issuance of medical slips, philhealth requirements, etc.

• Counsels and refers employees with personal/medical problems to proper 

agencies/hospitals.

• Administers the company's medical and dental programs, annual physical examinations, etc. 

• Processes employees medical and dental bills to determine company and employee's share. 

• Coordinates with various accredited hospitals regarding the medical and dental needs of employees.

• Coordinates with the Security Officer in establishing and overseeing effective and relevant health and safety programs in line with Company guidelines and in compliance with existing laws and regulations. 

• Makes sure that all relevant requirements indicated in the Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) are complied with. 

• Coordinates and administers safety training and wellness programs to prepare for emergency situations which require First Aiders, CPR providers, etc.

• Spearheads the implementation of employee and community relations programs specifically the annual Medical & Dental Mission per operations. 

• Handles inventories of medicines, among others.

• Maintains and keeps medical related records including PE results, medical certificates relevant to leave applications, among others.

• Provides reports to keep management informed about the health status of certain   employees.

• Processes and computes SSS sick leaves benefit of the employee. (SSC and EC Notification)

• Facilitates recruitment and placement of newly hired employees.

• Performs other administrative jobs as may be required.
