Associate - Underwriter (FRESH GRADS are welcome to apply)
About the role
We are seeking an Associate - Underwriter to join a client's team in Pasig City Metro Manila. This full-time position plays a key role in the Insurance & Superannuation division, focusing on Underwriting responsibilities.
What you'll be doing
- Evaluating and assessing insurance applications to determine appropriate coverage and pricing
- Conducting risk analysis and making underwriting decisions based on established guidelines and policies
- Communicating with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the underwriting process
- Continuously learning and staying up-to-date with industry regulations and trends
- Collaborating with the underwriting team to share best practices and improve processes
What we're looking for
- 1 year of experience in an underwriting or related role within the insurance industry
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate risk and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders
- Familiarity with insurance products, policies, and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
