ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER (KORONADAL)
JOB DETAILS:
1. Assists in the generation of accounts to produce returns in branch bookings, collections/overall income of the branch. In the absence of the Branch Manager, takes charge of the overall business activities and operations of the branch.
2. Evaluates loan applications and recommends approval for those that are credit worthy release of the proceeds.
3. Recommends adjustment in interest rates and terms to keep the company competitive with other financial companies in the area.
4. Monitors the annotation of mortgages in all documents covering the properties securing the loan transaction in accordance with company policies.
5. Supervises the recovery of investments in non-performing loans.
6. Works in close coordination with the company legal counsel to ensure that the company is adequately represented in all litigation proceedings.
7. Ensures that all documents and evidence are intact and recommends other options to strengthen the stand of the company in all legal cases.
8. Ensures that repossessed assets are controlled and disposed regularly.
9. Monitors and manages the proper upkeep of branch properties like vehicles, furniture, equipment, etc.
10. Monitors the timely submission of weekly and monthly financial reports and is responsible for the accuracy of the figures reported therein.
11. Ensures the timely remittances of premiums withheld for SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-ibig contributions of the branch staff including withholding taxes on compensation, rentals, etc.
12. Ensures timely submission of the required reports for the foregoing statutory deductions to the respective government agencies.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in business studies/administration/management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or related field. Familiar with the financing industry or finance in general.
2. At least 3 years of work experience in a Supervisory role in a banking or financing industry.
3. Proficient in the use of basic applications like MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, including email access.
4. Knowledge and skill of modern office practices, procedures, equipment and standard clerical techniques.
5. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
6. Excellent customer service orientation. Action orientated. Should be able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.
7. Basic project and time management skills.
8. Efficient presentation/facilitation skills. Should be able to facilitate group discussions.
9. Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
10. Ability to meet the annual targets set by top management. Achieves department metrics and organizational goals.
