Consultant on Housekeeping

About the role

Stockcare Cargo and Warehousing Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Consultant on Housekeeping to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our residential aged care facilities, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control are maintained. This is a critical role that will have a direct impact on the quality of life and well-being of our residents.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular audits and inspections of housekeeping practices and procedures across our facilities
• Developing and implementing comprehensive cleaning schedules and protocols to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Providing hands-on training and mentoring to our housekeeping team, empowering them to deliver exceptional service
• Collaborating with facility managers to identify and address any issues or concerns related to cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the aged care housekeeping industry
• Advising on the procurement of appropriate cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools to support efficient and effective operations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar consultancy or advisory role within the aged care or healthcare sector
• Extensive knowledge of cleaning and infection control standards, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff effectively
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve complex housekeeping-related issues
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing comprehensive cleaning protocols and procedures
• Passion for delivering high-quality service and contributing to the well-being of our residents
