Business Development Officer
Job description
The Business Development Officer is a key player in Datem Water Inc.'s growth initiatives in the water and wastewater sectors. This role focuses on strategic partnerships, project proposal development, and securing contracts for large-scale water treatment, desalination, and bulk water supply projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), securing financing, experience in regulatory compliance, and proven success in fostering collaboration with government agencies and other stakeholders.
Educational Attainment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development within the water industry or related infrastructure sector.
- Proven track record of securing Notices of Award and leading Joint Venture projects, especially in the water sector.
- Experience collaborating with government agencies to ensure compliance and execution of water and wastewater projects
Technical Competencies
- Expertise in PPP arrangements, SPV structuring, and navigating RA 9184 procurement processes.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience in financial modeling and debt financing.
- Proficiency in proposal writing, market analysis, and project planning.
