Research & Development Manager - Patisserie

We are a leading cake and confectionary company dedicated to crafting innovative and delightful treats. We are seeking a passionate and experienced R&D Manager to join our team and drive the development of our new and exciting products.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Ideation: Lead the development of new and innovative cake and confectionary products from concept to completion.
• Manage and lead a team of talented chefs, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
• Oversee the entire product launch process, ensuring that new products meet our quality standards and are brought to market efficiently
• Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer preferences, translating insights into successful product concepts
• Create and refine recipes, ensuring they meet taste, quality, and cost parameters
• Implement and maintain stringent quality control standards throughout the product development process
• Work closely with marketing, sales, and production teams to ensure seamless product launches and alignment with company goals
  
  Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the cake and confectionary industry
• In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient functionality, and food safety regulations
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong creative and innovative thinking skills with a passion for developing unique products
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and results-oriented approach
