Accounting Generalist - Davao

General Accounting Specialist is responsible for Accounts Payable and Financial Reports Preparation ensures that: payments to suppliers, service providers and gov’t. agencies are complete, valid, accurate and timely in accordance with accounting standards and principles, internal control, corporate policies & procedures and in compliance with all government rules, regulations, and laws. S/he shall also be responsible for the preparation of financial reports assigned to him/her. S/he also initiates and executes process improvements and innovations.

-Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance Management/Accounting Technology or other equivalent courses.
-At least 1 year experience as an accounts payable specialist, closing the books and preparation analysis of financial reporting, or any business-related experience but entry levels are welcome.
-Preferably with experience in QuickBooks and Zero System
-Familiar with financial models (cost-benefit analysis, financial statements, etc.)
-In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
-Extensive experience in account reconciliation.
