ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn Administrative Assistant with an interest in bookkeeping to work with our client based in Melbourne, Australia – a thriving kids' modeling agency. You'll be responsible for a blend of administrative and financial tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of both the office and the financial backbone of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative:

  • Managing calendars, making appointments, and prioritizing follow-up calls with clients.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal teams and external clients.
  • Handling client calls, responding to emails.
  • Assisting in social media tasks and online marketing (as required).
  • Other ad-hoc tasks (as required).

Bookkeeping:

  • Data entry of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconciling bank statements.
  • Generating basic financial reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in a bookkeeping software program (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative while also being a team player.
  • Charismatic and comfortable working with kids (a plus!).

Bonus Points

  • Experience working in the modeling industry or a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools.
