Production Supervisor
Overview

Duties and Responsibilities
- Leading and managing a team
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve team performance and productivity
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects
- Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback and coaching to team members
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
- Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and upper management
- Managing a team: Your main responsibility is to lead and manage your team, which includes training, coaching, and motivating team members to achieve production targets.
- Planning and organizing production: You are responsible for planning and organizing production schedules, ensuring that all equipment, materials, and personnel are available when needed, and monitoring progress to ensure that production targets are met.
- Quality control: You must ensure that all products meet the required quality standards and are produced by company procedures and industry regulations.
- Safety and compliance: You must ensure that your team operates safely, adheres to all safety regulations, and complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Observe & adhere in line clearance per stage of production.
- Responsible for implementing endorsement protocol per shift basis.
- Communication: You must communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments to ensure that production runs smoothly and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.
- Continuous improvement: You must identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity gains, and work with your team to implement these changes.
- Reporting: You must keep accurate records of production output, quality control, and safety compliance, and provide regular reports to management.
- As a Prod Supervisor, in the absence of the staff, it’s your responsibility to take charge and assist in the production area.
- Responsible for coordination, inspection, and compliance of Production staff and operators in terms of line production protocol.
Qualifications
- Proven relevant experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing, warehouse, or factory setting (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry)
- Knowledgeable in cGMP in line with the requirements of the FDA.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
