About the role:

Job Summary

The Lead Generation Specialist plays a key role in driving sales success by identifying potential clients and converting them into scheduled appointments. This position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for sales and strong organizational skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial Team to research potential customers, qualify leads, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Research and identify potential leads through various channels, including online research, industry databases, and social media.
  • Assist with outbound prospecting efforts such as cold emailing and initial outreach to gauge customer interest.
  • Maintain and update lead information in the CRM system to ensure data accuracy and organization.

2. Lead Qualification & Nurturing

  • Assess leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with the company’s target market.
  • Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Provide timely follow-ups, share relevant information, and nurture leads through the sales funnel.
  • Support ongoing communication by addressing inquiries and delivering excellent customer service. 

3. Sales Administration & CRM Management

  • Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing sales-related documents (e.g., proposals, costings).
  • Oversee the management and customization of Zoho CRM to align with sales and lead generation processes.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and system updates to optimize CRM efficiency.

4. Sales Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the sales team to align lead generation efforts with sales objectives and targets.
  • Provide regular updates on lead status and share feedback on lead quality.
  • Coordinate with the recruitment team for pre-sales-related documentation.
  • Participate in sales meetings, contributing insights and progress reports on lead generation activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience or familiarity with lead generation techniques, tools, and best practices is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Zoho CRM) and other sales tools is an advantage.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to grow in a sales environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
