Our Finance Team is looking for fresh graduates/experienced professionals to join us in BGC in the role of Accounting Associate.
In this role, you will conduct regular and spot audits of units outlined in the Department's annual audit plan, as well as special or fraud investigations as assigned. You will ensure that all audit reviews and processes adhere to established internal auditing standards, including those set by the Institute of Internal Auditors International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, regulatory authorities, and relevant codes of ethics.

What the role will entail
- Verifies GL accounts with abnormal/unusual balances and escalates to the respective operations and/or business units for resolution, as applicable
- Reviews accuracy and ensures timeliness of the conduct of GL-SL reconciliation
- Ensures accuracy, completeness and timeliness of accounting schedules-MPVR and other financial reports assigned to the unit including review of Intercompany Accounts Reconciliation
- Review and ensure accurate posting of Daily FX Closing Rates for Revaluation of GL Accounts
- Prepare and monitor the disposition of various Balance Sheet & Sundry Accounts
What we're looking for
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Banking or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): tax reporting and auditing, general accounting, treasury accounting, consumer loans accounting, financial management, experience in processing of credit card and personal loans, etc.
- With at least 1 year of experience in accounting
- Willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig City.
