Responsible for the local programs related to compensation and benefits. Able to partner with HR Business Partners, and Operations leaders to solve compensation-related business problems and provide necessary guidance. Able to produce ad hoc analyses with fast turnarounds based on business requests. 

Compensation duties include ownership of job descriptions, job evaluation, pay changes and similar programs, compensation survey participation, incentive plan administration. 

Benefits responsibilities include life and health insurance programs, clinic management and other programs or practices related to benefits. Liaise with brokers, benefits consultants and legal team. 

Qualifications

  • University degree required.  Advanced degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of CompBen experience
  • Knowledge of compensation theory, methodology, legislation, tools and processes.
  • Knowledge of benefits theory, methodology, legislation, tools, and processes.
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  Proficient user of HRIS software (Lawson HRIS preferred).
  • Research and analytical skills with ability to interpret data, detect trends, draw conclusions and formulate recommendations. 
  • Staff supervisory experience and skills strongly preferred
