Plant Finance Manager ( South Luzon )

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Plant Finance Manager in South Luzon. This role is the site finance lead and a key member of the site leadership team, taking a lead role in Business Partnering across all site functions.

The Plant Accounting Manager will partner with the Site Operations lead to drive business performance; manage the site planning, forecasting, and reporting processes; provide effective reporting, analysis, and performance management of the site's financial results; and oversee the site's financial reporting and controls environment.

What you'll do:

As a Plant Finance Manager in South Luzon, you will be at the heart of our operations. Your role will involve providing financial leadership to the site leadership team, advising on issues, trends, and opportunities. Your ability to implement and maintain an effective internal control environment will be crucial in ensuring complete and accurate financial reporting. You will also review capital expenditure requests, ensuring they undergo proper financial evaluation. As part of your role, you will lead the annual financial plan and quarterly forecast process for the site. Additionally, you will directly supervise, develop, and lead two Financial Planning analysts.

  • Provide various on-going reporting and analysis to the site management team
  • Define the site's short-term and long-term financial plans through business and market knowledge
  • Implement and maintain an effective internal control environment
  • Ensure complete and accurate financial reporting
  • Review capital expenditure requests and ensure proper financial evaluation
  • Lead financial annual plan and quarterly forecast process for the site
  • Directly supervise, develop, and lead 2 Financial Planning analysts

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Plant Finance Manager role will be a holder of a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, CPA, CMA, or MBA. You will bring at least 10 years of experience in an accounting/finance/costing function, with relevant experience in a production environment and/or costing. Experience in cost/manufacturing accounting, including developing standard costs and reporting budget versus actuals is essential. Experience in using ERP systems is also required.

  • Holder of Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, CPA, CMA, or MBA
  • At least 10 years of experience in accounting/finance/costing function
  • Relevant experience in production environment and/or costing is required
  • Exhibits a high level of autonomy as demonstrated via independent decision-making
  • Strong team working and relationship building skills
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong orientation for details
  • Knowledge of US GAAP reporting requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley knowledge is required
  • Experience in cost/manufacturing accounting, including developing standard costs and reporting budget versus actuals
  • Experience in using ERP systems is required
