Legal Associate
Summary
The Legal Associate/Specialist will be responsible for (i) the Sales and Procurement Contract
Import Project / Manual Data Extraction (Ironclad), (ii) contract intake, assignment of contracts
and general support (Ironclad) and matter management (LawVu), intake, assignment and
general support. With respect to (i), this role will require utilization of IronClad’s Smart Import AI
to upload records into the repository.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
● Utilize IronClad’s Smart Import AI to upload Procurement and Sales contracts into
IronClad repository;
● Review and Analyze metadata pulled from Smart Import AI to ensure correct data is
being used in repository;
● Ensure correct archiving and storage of documents;
● Assist in monitoring contract submissions within Ironclad and assigning contract
review to members of the Recorded Future Legal team based on geography and
subject matter;
● General review of Ironclad submissions to ensure that the appropriate legal contract
documentation has been uploaded for review (maintain meta-data corrections on the
backend, IronClad license provisions, and update IronClad workflows as needed);
● Monitor legal matter management within LawVu (monitor feedbacks/update requests
for LawVu business portal, custom intake, triage when Mater Managers are OOO, backend
support for administrative duties as requested by in house legal and articles for
knowledge), and LawVu lifecycle diagram. Deliver other ad-hoc related tasks/projects as
assigned by the Legal team.
Education and Qualifications:
● Bachelor's Degree
● At least 2-3 years work experience on a Legal team (Contracts)
● Paralegal Certification or equivalent is preferred but not required
● Experience in contract review, administration and management
● Experience in IronClad, SalesForce, LawVu, G-suite or other CLM software is
preferred
● Able to work independently with minimal supervision
● Good at structured, process-oriented responsibilities
● Must be able to effectively multi-task and manage time-sensitive documents
● Must be able to function effectively in a busy and team oriented environment
● Flexible and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Skills
● Proficient in MS Office and/or Google Suite
● Has excellent technical writing and communication skills
● Analytical, highly organized, and detail-oriented
● Problem solving and decision making skills
