Responsibilities:
The Onboarding Assistant Manager oversees the onboarding process for new hires in tech consulting, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from start to finish. This includes managing onboarding strategies, coordinating with various departments, and supporting new hires through their transition.
Onboarding Process
- Develop and improve the end-to-end onboarding process.
- Create checklists, timelines, and collaborate with departments to ensure a smooth experience.
- Ensure compliance with necessary documentation and company policies.
New Hire Orientation
- Lead orientation programs to introduce new hires to the company’s mission, culture, and expectations.
- Facilitate team-building activities and help new hires feel welcome.
Post-Onboarding Support
- Provide ongoing support and check-ins with new hires during their first months.
- Address concerns and identify training needs.
Reporting & Analytics
- Track and report key metrics (completion rates, retention, satisfaction) to improve the onboarding process.
Compliance
- Ensure onboarding meets legal standards and protects candidate data.
- Maintain confidential and accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in recruitment or onboarding, especially in tech roles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage confidential information.
- Experience with ATS or HRIS systems is a plus.
