Internal Auditor (Apo View Hotel)
Job Summary: The Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits of financial and operational activities within the company. The position requires ensuring adherence to internal policies, tax compliance, budget controls, and overall process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute audits across departments and processes to assess compliance and efficiency.
• Ensure that invoices are complete, accurate, and compliant with BIR regulations.
• Monitor adherence to the 60% and 40% budget allocation by cashiers.
• Conduct reviews of the company's tax practices to ensure full compliance with BIR regulations.
• Provide regular reports on audit results and offer recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance internal controls and operational performance.
Qualifications:
• Education: A degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 years' experience in internal auditing or a related financial role, with in-depth knowledge of internal controls, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.

Company profile
We started out as Hotel Sogo in 1993 with 20 rooms in Monumento. In 2005 we opened the first Eurotel and soon after, the first Astrotel. Both Hotel Sogo and Astrotel compete in the Stay Awhile or SAW segment of the market. The Eurotel branches are designated simply as Hotels
(this includes Apo View in Davao).
In 2021 we formally established our Corp Office by setting up Global Officium Ltd, Inc. (GOLI), a business service provider of accounting, finance, HR, ICT, audit, engineering, reservations & legal. At the same time, we also established a management group named Global Comfort
Group Corp (GCGC). This is the company that provides the Managers for all operating branches. Aside from the managers and executives that runs the Hotel brands, we also have the Marketing Dept, the F&B Dept, the Business Development Dept and the Sales & Leasing Dept
(in charge of room & banquet sales of hotels and leasing out properties of ETII) as part of GCGC.
Currently we have 47 Hotel Sogo branches, 8 Eurotel branches and 9 Astrotel branches. We employ about 2500 employees, about 150 of which are Managers. We also established other affiliates such as Dormtel, Care Master Inc (a facilities maintenance contracting company), the Hotel Management Institute of the Philippines
