Job Description
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the general warehouse operations from receiving of goods, storage, internal movements, goods issuances, and unloading/loading of raw materials such as micro-ingredients, packaging, spares and etc. ensuring timely, accurate, complete documentation and compliance to Good Warehousing Policy, Procedures and Standards for safe and efficient warehousing operations.
The role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, completeness and proper unloading of goods from trucks, or transportation vehicles into the warehouse facility.
The role also ensures real-time, accurate and complete system recording of all inventory related transactions.
Inbound Processing
Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents
Accurately record incoming materials in SAP, including batch numbers and storage locations
Submits delivery samples to QA for quality inspection (for QA relevant deliveries)
Coordinate with the Planning, Procurement and Quality Assurance teams (and/or end users) to ensure timely delivery and quality standards
Performs timely posting of Goods Receipt transactions
Ensures efficient unloading process to comply with truck turnaround/vans cycle time service level agreements (SLA)
Reports any nonconformance of received deliveries to team leaders & relevant stakeholders (e.g. quantity discrepancy, lacking documents, infestation, damages, and other sources of nonconformance)
Performs supplier return transaction for rejected deliveries
Resolves any issues on unpaid supplier invoices related to Goods Receiving process
Outbound Processing
Process material requests and fulfill orders accurately and efficiently
Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling
Coordinate with the shipping department to schedule and execute shipments
Performs timely posting of Goods Issuance transactions
Monitors & executes disposal of obsolete inventory as indicated in the inventory guidelines
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP, including cycle counts and physical inventories
Ensures accuracy of inventory reports sent to stakeholders as required
Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies
Optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess stock
Warehouse Operations
Ensure proper storage and organization of materials in the warehouse
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Ensures safety and efficient operation of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
SAP Utilization
Utilize SAP to execute tasks related to material receipt, issuance, and inventory management
Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and improve processes
Inventory Count & Reconciliation
Makes the necessary preparation prior to inventory count to ensure proper execution of count & reconciliation
Coordinates with the Accounting team & other stakeholders in performing the inventory count
Reconciles & traces inventory transactions to resolve any inventory discrepancy
Provide proper justification & explanation for untraced variances and come up with the correct action plans to prevent recurring inventory issues
Other Tasks
Performs other related activities that may be assigned by Immediate Team Leader
Actively participates in all company programs
Ensures execution of quality and food safety standards in compliance with Pilmico Food Safety Policy warehouse operations
Reports problems related to food safety and quality management systems to identified authorities
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of any four year, preferably business related
Experience: At least 6 months experience in warehousing and inventory management
License/s: Not applicable
Other Requirements:
Knowledge of warehousing, inventory management and control
Computer literacy in data processing and company required software
Ability to communicate well, both oral and written
Sense of urgency
