Role Summary
We are looking to hire a Remote Fundraiser to assist with our client's fundraising and donor engagement initiatives. This individual will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with donors, reaching out to prospective supporters, and managing donor data within our CRM system. Although remote, the fundraiser will perform duties similar to an in-office team member, focusing on phone and email communication, campaign execution, and donor follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Donor Outreach and Engagement:
- Initiate and maintain relationships with donors and prospects through phone calls and emails.
- Follow up on inquiries and maintain consistent communication to ensure donor retention.
- Fundraising Campaigns:
- Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns, including crafting donor appeal emails and letters.
- Collaborate with the team to meet campaign goals and deadlines.
- CRM Management:
- Accurately record all donor interactions and update donor profiles in the CRM system.
- Ensure data integrity and generate reports as required.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide logistical support for fundraising events and campaigns.
- Respond promptly and professionally to donor inquiries and requests.
- Research and Development:
- Identify and research potential donors and funding opportunities.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in nonprofit fundraising.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in fundraising.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, DonorPerfect) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience or interest in nonprofit work and cultural preservation is a plus.
Working Conditions
- Remote Work: The fundraiser will work from home and must have a reliable internet connection and a professional workspace.
- Time Zone Coordination: Some flexibility may be required to align with U.S. time zones for meetings or donor calls.
Performance Expectations
- Consistently meet or exceed fundraising targets.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive donor records.
- Demonstrate effective and professional donor engagement.
- Support the successful execution of fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
Benefits
- Client Relationship: You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
- Payment: All payments for your services will be handled directly by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will go directly to you.
- Vacation Leaves and Holidays: While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the client's discretion. You are expected to align your schedule with the client's business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.
Salary: $900 - $1100 / month
