About the Role:
As a Service Delivery Supervisor at Servicepoint, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality IT services to our clients. You will oversee key projects, ensuring that deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your role will involve managing project dependencies, coordinating resources, and keeping stakeholders informed of progress and risks. You will play a pivotal role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership & Accountability: Oversee the successful delivery of IT service projects, ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and budget.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify potential risks and issues, escalating as necessary to mitigate impact and ensure project delivery.
- Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and share timely project status reports and updates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Resource Management: Support resource allocation, collaborating with the Project Manager to ensure optimal use of resources across projects and identifying allocation challenges.
- Process Improvement: Work with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve project coordination, scheduling, and efficiency.
- Operational Reporting: Provide daily project status updates to operational management, ensuring visibility and alignment across the team.
- Small Project Management: Independently manage small-scale projects (under 20 sites), including planning, execution, and delivery, without the need for a Project Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Project Management: Proven ability to plan, execute, and manage projects efficiently, handling all aspects from risk identification to final delivery.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Risk Management: Solid experience in assessing and mitigating risks to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Customer-Focused: A genuine commitment to understanding client needs and delivering outstanding service with professionalism and empathy.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities, especially when under pressure.
- Self-Starter: Independent and resourceful, with the ability to take ownership and deliver results with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Experience: Previous experience managing or coordinating IT projects, especially in service delivery or technology implementations.
- Incident Management & Customer Service: Experience in incident management or providing IT support services to customers is highly desirable.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT infrastructure, networking, desktop support, or troubleshooting is an advantage.
