Selection Criteria
- Must Have At Least 5 Years of Australian Experience with Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF).
- Thorough understanding of Australian taxation legislation, including but not limited to GST, FBT, CGT, Division 7A, income tax, and tax compliance.
- Has experience in preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Installment Activity Statements (IAS).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Reckon).
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards (AASB and IFRS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Exceptional communication and client service skills.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Handle SMSF administration, accounting, tax, and audit requirements.
- Work with SMSFs involving complex transactions, such as unlisted unit trusts, overseas trusts, and cryptocurrency.
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) monthly or quarterly, ensuring compliance with ATO guidelines.
- Conduct quality control and final reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Handle SMSF processing, data entry, reconciliation, and working paper preparation.
- Provide SMSF technical support to the broader team.
- Replying to the clients' e-mails and requests.
- Maintain accurate timesheet records and meet deadlines consistently.
