Learning Specialist (LMS Administrator)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled LMS (Learning Management System) Administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance our Learning Management System. The LMS Administrator will play a crucial role in delivering effective learning solutions, troubleshooting issues, managing system configurations, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the LMS platform for employees, or users across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration:
◦ Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the LMS platform.
◦ Configure, test, and troubleshoot LMS systems and modules.
◦ Collaborates to ensure optimal system performance and integration with other platforms
User Management:
◦ Create and manage user profiles, roles, permissions, and access levels.
◦ Provide ongoing support to end-users for login issues, course access, and system navigation.
◦ Coordinate with internal teams to onboard new users and grant access to necessary learning resources.
Course Management:
◦ Upload, organize, and maintain learning content and courses within the LMS.
◦ Ensure the proper categorization of content and materials to meet users' needs.
◦ Monitor and ensure timely completion of assigned training programs or certifications.
Data Reporting and Analytics:
◦ Generate and analyze usage reports, course completion data, and user progress.
◦ Provide regular reports on LMS activity and performance to leadership.
◦ Identify trends and areas for improvement in user engagement and course effectiveness.
Troubleshooting & Support:
◦ Provide technical support for users experiencing issues with course access, content, or system functionality.
◦ Investigate and resolve system-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
◦ Communicate system updates, outages, and changes to end-users.
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience managing or administering an LMS
• Experience with eLearning content creation and instructional design is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Learning Management System functionalities and architecture.
• Familiarity with integration between LMS and other enterprise software.
Skills and Competencies:
• Proficient in LMS administration, user management, and reporting tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
