Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our client on-site in Quezon City. The HR Officer will serve as an integral part of the organization, handling a wide range of HR generalist duties to support the dynamic needs of the retail industry. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth HR operations, foster a positive workplace culture, and support employee development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Source, screen, and onboard candidates to fill vacancies across departments.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and ensure the selection of the best-fit talent.
- Conduct new employee orientations to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
2. Employee Relations:
- Address employee concerns, mediate disputes, and maintain harmonious workplace relationships.
- Promote and enforce company policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
3. HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and other HR documentation.
- Handle timekeeping, payroll inputs, and leave management processes.
4. Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs to support employee growth.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for employee development.
5. Compliance & Policy Implementation:
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and internal policies.
- Implement and review company policies to align with industry best practices.
6. HR Projects & Initiatives:
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Support diversity and inclusion efforts, fostering a supportive company culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably within the retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems is an advantage.
