Job Description:
- Evaluate and grade students' assignments, projects, and exams accurately and fairly and in accordance with the marking guide.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their performance.
- Understand the curriculum and learning outcomes of the procurement and contracting courses.
- Stay updated with any changes in the course material or assessment criteria.
- Maintain regular communication with students to clarify doubts and provide guidance.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure consistency in assessment standards.
- Participate in moderation and standardization processes to ensure fair assessment practices.
- Contribute to the development and review of assessment materials.
- Offer additional support to students who are struggling with the course content.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance assessment skills and knowledge of the subject matter.
- Comply with RTO requirements and adhere to all relevant educational and ethical guidelines in assessment practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information and assessment results.
- Essential to the job is being committed and motivated to complete:
- Assessor Skills set or CertIV TAE if (not currently held).
- Certificate IV, Diploma and/or Advanced Diploma of Procurement of Contracting (if not currently held)
Requirements
- Undergraduate university degree or relevant industry qualification in procurement and/or contract management industry experience in procurement and contract management
- Assessing and training within a training organisation environment
- General computing skills including good knowledge of MS Office
- Be collaborative- To work as an effective team member.
- Work diligently with mininmal supervision. Deliver all role requirements to an exceptional standard.
- Good written and spoken English
- Desireable qualifications:
- hold CertIV TAE or Assessor skill set
- hold qualifications in procurement and/or contract management
