Key Responsiblities:


1. To process weekly, fortnightly, monthly payroll

  • Collect daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly timesheets
  • Processing payroll – employee wage calculations and payments
  • Calculation of bonuses & allowances
  • Enter new employee’s data accurately in payroll software
  • Schedule and upload bank payments
  • Send pay slips
  • Processing expense claims
  • Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes and deductions

2. To complete compliance, reporting & clerical duties

  • Preparing global compliance returns
  • Payroll Tax, Superannuation, PAYG filing and payments
  • Electronic filing of source documents
  • Completing monthly adjustments and journals
  • Updating client procedure manual as required
  • Managing client and employee emails and resolving queries
  • Recording time spent on client tasks


Skills, Qualifications & Experience


Essential:

  • Passionate about payroll
  • Payroll and bookkeeping qualifications in a global set up
  • BPO Experience is a MUST
  • Minimum of 2 years payroll/bookkeeping experience, preferable with SME’s
  • Very good written and oral English communication
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to perform in a paperless environment
  • Strong time management


Preferred:

  • Experience working with New Zealand or Australian SME’s
  • New Zealand or Australian payroll knowledge
  • Xero Payroll certified
  • Experience with accounting software – Xero, Smart Payroll, Ipayroll, Cloud Payroll, Pay Hero
  • Experience working remotely for offshore clients
