POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading, managing, coaching and mentoring the inside sales team to meet and exceed sales targets. This role focuses on driving sales growth through effective team management, process optimization, and collaboration with other departments such as Marketing, Client Success and Talent Acquisition.
  • The Inside Sales Manager will develop strategies to maximize revenue, optimize lead conversion, and build long-term relationships with clients.  They will also engage with potential clients who are stuck in the sales process to consult with them on how best to set up their offices for success.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the inside sales team to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Create and maintain a positive team culture focused on accountability, continuous learning, and success.
  • Ensure HubSpot is kept up to date with accurate and detailed information.
  • Monitor call and email activity of all Inside Sales representatives.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Work with Marketing on lead targeting and ensuring that the Inside Sales team has enough quality leads.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales objectives.
  • Optimize sales processes and ensure the efficient use of HubSpot for tracking leads, opportunities, and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure a seamless lead-generation process and drive demand generation campaigns.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Monitor missed opportunities and prevent leads from falling through the cracks. 
  • ·Ensure there are no missed appointments and that all tasks set up in HubSpot are being followed through in a timely fashion.
  • ·Analyze sales data to assess performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports to leadership, including forecasting, win/loss analysis, and sales funnel metrics.
  • Identify and remove bottlenecks in the sales process to improve conversion rates and shorten the sales cycle.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment:

  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure a unified approach to deal engagement and lead nurturing. 
  • Work with Talent Acquisition to align on Market Demand and Talent Pool supply.  
  • Communicate market feedback and insights to help improve products, services, and positioning.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Ensure the inside sales team establishes strong relationships with prospects.
  • Develop and implement best practices for client prospect outreach and follow-up.
  • Oversee the handling of inbound and outbound sales activities, including lead qualification, demos, and negotiations

KPIs/Performance Metrics:

  • Achievement of team sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Lead conversion rates and sales cycle duration.
  • Team performance and development (e.g., ramp-up time, retention).
  • Pipeline health and forecast accuracy.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention rates following onboarding.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Inside Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role.
  • Experience in Staffing, RPO or high-growth industry
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to manage the entire sales funnel from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Experience using HubSpot, and sales reporting tools.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills with a track record of motivating and developing sales teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales target
