Oracle Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Programmer for current and new business initiatives as they relate to Oracle Applications RICE elements (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions) and database Applications using MS SQL Server.
  • Performs program analysis, maintenance, modifications and support for programs currently in production as well as construction and testing of new programs to be responsive to client needs and to assure efficient operation in the production environment.
  • Construct or modify programs following program specifications.
  • Compile or maintain operations and program documentation.
  • Verify and perform testing tasks for unit testing, and assist with string and systems testing.
  • Assist clients in the development of client documentation.
  • Support production via problem determination and resolution.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Programming and analysis experience in a business environment, with emphasis on language/structure.
  • Structured or object oriented programming skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of database architecture and interactive programming skills.
  • Very good experience with SQLand PL/SQL programming.
  • Oracle Forms/Reports 6i development.
  • XML appreciation/experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience with UNIX and UNIX Shell Scripting.
  • SQLPLUS, SQLDeveloper or Toad.
  • Working in a Oracle Applications environment 3-5 years.
  • JAVA programming 3-5 years.
  • Experience with SQL Server 2005 Integration Services (SSIS) a plus
  • Experience creating and supporting integrated database applications on different platforms
  • Knowledge of IIS helpful
  • Periodic travel to US may be required
  • 2 Full-Time positions available.
