Prospective Principal/Project: South Steel Company

The job holder will be reponsible for all matters related to the security for the entire Project Site. The role is a significant operational function within the organization and as such is a key appointment.

Site Security Officer
(Riyadh, Saudi Arabia)

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of communication links and interfaces between project services disciplines and other projects fields.
• Ensure that all personnel, goods and equipment on the job site or engaged on the Project are safe and secure
• In conjunction with the Safety officer establish and implement emergency and major incident procedures covering site evacuation, fire fighting and first aid.
• Ensure the speficied fire fighting and first aid facilities are sufficient and complaint with local laws and regulations.
• Carryout regular checks to ensure the fire fighting and first aid equipment is maintained at acceptable and operational levels.
• Report and investigate all incidents, including liaison with the appropriate authorities where applicable.
• Identification and management of risks ( in liason with Project Manager/Services Manager ).

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• English is the main language to be language to be used on the contract and therefore the candidate should be able to demonstrate good verbal and written English.
• Ideally, candidates must be able to operate at degree level or equivalent. Ability to communicate in Arabic would be an advantage.
• Must be Male, 25-40 years old
• 10 positions available.
