Concomitant with our expansion and growth, is our need for dynamic and competitive professionals to take on the responsibility of running our malls, cinemas, bowling centers, ice skating rinks, food court, amusement centers, trade halls, convention center, IMAX, and Science Discovery Center. Responsibilities: To work closely with design officers within the region, and officials on site, ensuring that works are carriedout to specific standards, that any problems that arise are quickly resolved, that projected designs match the needs of these groups; supervise and oversee alterations to existing structure and monitor on restoration and conservation of old properties; coordinate with engineers, surveyors and construction specialists on site and oversee projects from beginning to end making sure that structures meet company policies, company standards on design and image, management standards, and rules, laws and regulations on construction. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Project Management To supervise, oversee and approve design proposals and planning applications to management, discuss the objectives and requirements to ensure the practicality of the project keeping within financial budgets and deadlines; check various pre-design services which may include conducting feasibility and environmental impact studies or specifying the requirements the design must meet; make site visits to check on progress and ensuring that the project is running within the agreed timescale; conduct canvassing and evaluation of possible contractors to serve the mall in the execution of the projects; inspect and monitor projects pertaining to the mall to maintain company image and management standards on building and area designs; supervise the structure appearance to make sure it is functional, safe, economical and suit the needs of the tenants, customers, and employees; follow building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other ordinances to ensure that it is within the limits set forth by law. Monitoring, Reporting, and Documentation To prepare report, and monitor budget for projects; coordinate with engineering, and contractors on the specifics of approved projects for implementation and monitoring; check weekly accomplishment report and proposed project status; monitor, report, and document changes in the structure or in the planning process to keep the management posted on the development of projects. Tenant and Contract Relations To coordinate with and oversee design officers and design officers areas making sure that all structures, layouts, and design elements are in accordance with standard design and quality requirements; maintain healthy and harmonious relationship with the tenants provided it is within the limits of company policy and rules and regulations, and management standards. HR and Supervision To supervise, direct and control design operations within the region; perform Human Resource functions including performance appraisals, attendance monitoring, and other related functions for the purpose of maximizing employee productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency. Requirements: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree or Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Architecture or equivalent. At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent. Job role in Management or Architect. Willing to be trained in Pasay City, stationed in Visayas, Mindanao, North Luzon and South Luzon as well as Head Office in Pasay City.
