.Net Consultant - Reports

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • As an Information Risk Analyst for Retail IT Risk Management, the position is responsible for developing and maintaining reports related to the efficacy of information technology control environments. Consolidation and standardization of information from multiple control and security assessment tools is a primary function. Improvement in the usability and dissemination of Retail risk information to senior management and support areas is another key component of the position's responsibilities.


  • The position will routinely solicit and consolidate reporting requirements from Retail Information Risk Managers, senior management, application management teams, and infrastructure support teams to ensure reporting aligns with current risk initiatives and programs. Involvement in defining reporting requirements from upstream data sources and processes to improve the accuracy of Retail IT Risk's reported control posture is fundamental. Also, a general understanding of JPMC IT risk programs such as application self assessments, control self assessments, third party oversight, and vulnerability management is preferred.


  • The position will enhance and maintain SQL Reporting Services reports and a SharePoint site to manage and disseminate information pertaining to Retail's diverse technology control environments. The position also documents processes, performs validation of reporting accuracy, manages workflow, collaborates with other team members, and establishes routine release schedules.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associates degree (or equivalent work experience or specialized training) in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or related discipline
  • 3+ years of programming and software development experience using .Net, ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, VB.NET, and Visual Studio .NET
  • 3+ years developing SQL Server Reporting Services Reports for complex business functions that are intergraded into .NET web applications
  • 2+ years experience with MS SQL 2005 and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • 2+ years experience with SharePoint Portal Server (SPS) 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services (WSS)
  • Experience developing and modifying webparts within Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2007
  • Experience administrating Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2007
  • Experience documenting processes, work flows, and user requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter and within a team environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suites 2000 through 2007 versions
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experience with single-sign-on application integration
