Analyse requirements and functional specifications and translate into design and program specifications. Be able to appreciate and understand users’ business domain to carry out design effectively
Hands-on and be able to lead and guide developers, and work with local and offshore development team to deliver systems according to specifications
Knowledge and application of application design concepts using OO methodologies, and be able to design systems with performance, operational maintenance, and concurrency considerations. Be able to carry out database modeling and design
Assist in integration testing, be able to diagnose program defects, integration and performance issues and to recommend and carry out necessary follow-ups
Ensure completeness and quality of development work carried out
Be able to talk to clients when necessary to explain design rationale and defend design
Able to work independently as well as in teams
