A. Expanded Forum House Rules

This virtual HR Community was created to serve as a venue for exchange of knowledge and resources among HR professionals. To ensure the forum’s effectiveness as a learning tool, we enjoin members to abide by the following guidelines:

  1. Observe the three C’s of good manners - courtesy, civility and consideration-at all times Sanction: Suspension or exclusion from forum depending on severity.

  2. People searches and manpower recruitment activities are not allowed. To post job ads online, call our office at 637-JOBS email at ads-ph@jobstreet.com.

Sanction: Automatic exclusion from the forum

  3. All compilation of member data (including names and contact details of HR Forum members) can only conducted by JobStreet.com. Corresponding sanctions will apply for violations to this provision. Request for HR Forum Directory shall be the sole discretion of JobStreet.com.

Sanction: Automatic exclusion from the forum.

  4. Product and / or service advertisement are not allowed. For advertising assistance in the forum, call our office at 637-JOBS or email at ads-ph@jobstreet.com.

Sanction: Automatic exclusion from the forum

  5. Due to the risk of contracting computer viruses, attachments are automatically rejected. Materials for group share should be posted as plain text in the body of the email message. Related URL, websites, and links are preferable.

JobStreet.com reserves the right to release company updates as deemed appropriate.

Sanction: Automatic exclusion from the forum.

  6. Spam (unsolicited mail), flame (hate mail) and junk mails (non-HR jokes, chain letters, etc.) are totally unacceptable.

Sanction: Suspension or automatic exclusion from the forum depending on severity.

  7. To minimize traffic, send personal communications direct to the recipient. These include “Thank you” messages and requests to be enlisted in seminars initiated or organized by members, among others.

“Private communications” refer to messages that are relevant or useful only to the persons to whom they addressed (e.g., “thank you” notes) and have little or no value to the other members.

Some email messages, however, may be addressed only to the initiator of the discussion but are nonetheless valuable to most, if not all, members, such as when they serve as direct responses to specific questions, or contain ideas that may not directly address the subject at hand, yet are relevant or valuable to the discussion. Such messages are deemed valuable as well.

It will be up to the forum members themselves to police violations on personal communications. Any member is encouraged to call the attention of a fellow member who he thinks violated this house rule.

  8. Inquiries on suppliers, vendors, referrals and related topics should remind the forum members to reply directly to his/her email address.

  9. The initiator of a discussion should end the thread by providing a summary of the discussion. Please observe a prescriptive period of three (3) days for discussions on all issues or topics posted to the forum.

  10. Requests for subscriptions & unsubscriptions should be emailed directly to herbert@jobstreet.com.
